Lahu Church Service in Chiang Mai
On
Sunday I had the opportunity to visit and preach at a Lahu Church pastored by
one of the graduates of the James O Fraser Centre where I used to work. It has been a while since I have last been in
a tribal church and I was struck by their singing. They did not have any musical accompaniment,
just their voices and it was amazing how great and loud they should even with
any microphone and amplifiers. I wonder
what we lose/gain in having loud music blasted out from the front?
