After our son passed his Taekwondo grading and gained his yellow belt, we went of with some of his friends at Taekwondo and their parents for ice cream and then dinner to celebrate. We had a great time and it was eye opening culturally. I thought only western children went wild at restaurants (generally Thai children are well mannered when with their parents at a restaurant) but our son and his friends proved otherwise. I’m surprised they didn’t break anything, though the waitress was very quick in removing the glasses and replacing them with plastic ones.
